Time to Pack a Bag!

Boarding Season is Upon Us!

Much like humans, pups have their vacation season too. Summer time and holidays are prime time for pups to pack their bags and spend some time with us. Even if just one night, they pack their food and head our way!

For parents, leaving a fur baby behind can be stressful. We try to make it as convenient as possible - flexible drop off and pick up times, even on weekends, coordinated nap and feeding schedules, and individual play for those that may not be comfortable in group play. In addition to making sure all vaccinations are up to date, other tips and tricks to make the experience better for everyone include:

First, if there's time, take a tour of the facility and read up on their Facebook and Google reviews. A website will tell you what a company wants you to know; social media will tell you what you need to know.

Second, ask the questions. All of the questions. While we try to post as much info as we can on our Facebook and website, there are things we might forget. Please don't hesitate to ask us. We want you to be comfortable with the experience at Paws and Paw Paws.

Third, bring your pup beforehand, if they have never used our services. We offer a free day of daycare (one-time use) for dogs to get to know us, and for us to get to know them. We encourage clients to use that day at their convenience (no need to schedule). Our play areas are equipped with cameras so you can watch their experience from home or work.

Lastly, book ahead of time! We do cap our capacity. For the safety of the dogs we care and our caregivers, we do cut off boarding so as to keep everyone as safe and happy as possible.
